Over the weekend, students all over The Ohio State University’s campus once again celebrated the Halloween holiday with an enthusiasm and creativity to top the last. We saw glimpses of the holiday to come, with the excited energy of the holiday flowing through the campus before the weekend even hit.

Here at Scarlette, things were no different. During the weeks leading up to the holiday, our members brainstormed their costume ideas. They poured their passion for fashion and their Halloween spirit into the arduous task of sourcing innovative, original costumes.

We can all acknowledge the headache that can come from trying to hold onto individuality in such a competitive holiday. But here at Scarlette, our members took this in stride, focusing on the fun Halloween has to offer—not just through carving pumpkins or trick-or-treating, but through creating unique costumes.

Scary, sexy and simple—we saw it all this Halloween. Our Scarlette members showcased diverse costuming, from classic Halloween looks to niche pop culture references and nostalgic characters. Without a doubt, Scarlette’s diverse nature shone through this spooky season.

Here’s a look back at what our members came up with this year. It’s never too early to be thinking about next year’s costume, so feel free to take notes.
