Along with being known for having delicious hot dogs and a giant shiny bean, Chicago is also home to one of the longest-running music festivals in the United States — the first one being held in 1991.

This year, Lollapalooza took place in Grant Park from Aug.1-4, featuring headliners Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, SZA and Metro Boomin, according to the official Lolapalooza lineup

This fashion-forward event allowed celebrities to explore the dernier cri, providing the perfect platform (literally) for self-expression.

As the Chicago heat relentlessly beat down on the festival goers, Chappell Roan provided a momentary distraction while kicking off Lollapalooza on Thursday belting “Femininomenon.”

Roan sported a WWE-esque piece speckled with hues of pinks and blues, closely resembling lucha libre style attire.

“I was crying as I walked on stage at @lollapalooza because of the overwhelm of support,” Roan wrote in an Instagram post. “Thank you thank you thank you 🩵🩷 I will remember this forever.”

Conan Gray — who performed on the Bud Light stage Sunday evening — rocked a studded two-piece set while performing his hit song “Heather,” wooing the crowd with his extensive vocal range.

This cowboy-meets-popstar look featured fingerless gloves and a laced top artfully paired with brown, heeled boots.

Megan Thee Stallion kept it pretty in pink during her Thursday night performance, donning a sequinned bombshell top with matching bottoms. Her jacket sleeves offered a multi-textural appearance and her pink nails were the icing on the cake.

Chicago Sky basketball star Angel Reese surprised the popstar on stage, garnering a colorful reaction from Stallion and lots of embraces.

Kesha rocked a Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear Namalia “Birkin” skirt while performing her most recent release, “Joyride,” garnering one of the pop star's most high-energy performances in recent years. Meanwhile, artists Reneé Rapp, Lizzy McAlpine and Kevin Abstract leaned into more comfortable aesthetics — donning one of this summer’s hottest trends, sporty-chic.

Rapp embraced the oversized look, wearing long black shorts and a red jersey-like top. Rapp single handedly proved less is more, matching her bottoms with a pair of black sunglasses.

Shocking the crowd, Rapp brought out surprise guest Chance the Rapper while singing "No Problem.”

These performers brought the heat to the windy city, racking in over 100,000 attendees, according to an article by USA Today. Their ensembles will go down in history.
