2024 was a huge year for music; something the 67th Annual Grammy Awards celebrated with pride. From come-backs to new arrivals, musicians from across the nation came together in honor of such a historic year.
Viewers weren’t just entertained by music during the 2025 Grammys, though—artists took the Red Carpet by storm, proving that fashion is not for the faint of heart. While icons like Taylor Swift, sporting a sparkling red Vivienne Westwood dress, played it safe, not everyone followed suit.
While this Jean Paul Gaultier gown isn’t exactly a step outside the box for Chappell Roan—her drag-inspired outfits are nothing short of extravagant—, it is a step forward for the Grammys, and the internet had a serious reaction.

The Cut described her ensemble as “kooky” and “a little bit too much,” but there’s no denying that she made a statement. Later in the evening, she accepted the Grammy for Best New Artist in—what else?—a towering princess hat perched upon her iconic red hair.
Next, we have Billie Eilish. Described in Vogue as looking “just as at home in streetwear from Left Hand LA and ERL as she does in a Gucci monogrammed suit,” Eilish’s style has always been one of much discussion.

This time around, she wowed the audience in a simple Prada suit, fit with crossed ties and a basic chain. The asymmetrical bucket hat, while slightly confusing, only proved Vogue’s point: “No matter what she’s wearing, we can always count on her to do it her way.”

Next, came an artist that gave us all a “Rush.” Troye Sivan walked the carpet in a sheer, monochromatic Prada suit. While it may have been called “mismatched” by The Cut, Sivan took what could have been just another suit and made it into something more. The sheer lilac jacket layered with his sensible scarf and sparkling brooch won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
Moving away from Prada, we see our first Thom Browne look of the evening. Doechii, the self-proclaimed “Swamp Ruler,” took home the Grammy for Best Rap Album. Unlike the aesthetic that follows her most recent album, “Alligator Bites Never Heal,” the singer went for a classy, pinstriped piece; a look that she has adopted for most recent performances and interviews.

With an eye-catching hourglass figure, Doechii remained dedicated to showcasing a silhouette in both outfits of the night. While accepting her award, she stood tall in another Thom Browne look, continuing to mix traditional masculine and feminine styles with ease.
Like Doechii, Jaden Smith kept his head held high on the Red Carpet—though we couldn’t see much of it. Smith arrived in a smart suit, understated black sneakers and a giant house on his head.

Technically speaking, it’s a castle. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the piece was designed by indie label Abodi, inspired by CEO Dora Abodi’s Transylvanian roots. Is the vampire aesthetic really making a comeback? Smith seems to think so.
Last, but certainly not least, we have what was likely the least expensive look of the night. Bianca Censori, arriving with husband Kanye West (Ye), removed a lovely black fur coat to reveal nothing but her birthday suit.

With a mesh dress that left absolutely nothing to the imagination, the aptly named Censori was literally censored as she posed on the carpet, the audience stunned into near-silence.
While the Grammys have always been a source of high-end, highly experimental fashion choices, this year’s highlights are nothing short of jaw-dropping. And while we may have to wait another year for the next one to come around, this year’s Grammys looks will surely keep us entertained until then.
