If you’ve been on the internet recently, you know that fans are fawning over Jenna Ortega every chance they get. From her appearances in “Jane the Virgin,” Disney Channel’s “Stuck in the Middle” and  “Wednesday” — based on “The Addams Family” — to her recent feature in Sabrina Carpenter’s “Taste” music video, Ortega has been a consistent fashion icon.

This time, Ortega is tackling the silver screen in Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” a sequel to Burton’s 1988 Halloween classic “Beetlejuice.”

Burton’s “Beetlejuice” follows Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), a young, misunderstood girl who befriends two friendly ghosts who previously inhabited her new home and a much less friendly spirit in order to drive her family out of the house for good.

In the sequel,  Lydia is grown up and has an unruly, teenage daughter, much like she was at her age. Astrid Deetz (Jenna Ortega) can’t help but get into trouble, eventually unleashing the exact mayhem that Lydia had tried to put to bed so many years ago.

Gothic mixes with dark comedy perfectly in this film, and Ortega knows how to play it perfectly — at least on the fashion front.

Throughout her press tour — which spanned from Aug. 13-30, according to an article from Teen Vogue —  Ortega has adopted each and every theme of the original movie, picking up bits and pieces of old costumes to include in her new looks.

Keeping it classy, Ortega wore a tan, off-the-shoulder dress, fit with beautiful tulle and shimmery, black details winding their way up and down her torso during the Aug. 13 Mexico City premiere. Resembling the sinister vines of a plant, Ortega matched the theme perfectly, mixing elegance, fun and mystery with ease.

On an Aug. 17 photocall in New York City, Ortega wore a stunning Dolce and Gabbana pinstripe skirt, with a low-necked, tailored blazer to match. The actress took obvious inspiration from the original “Beetlejuice,” adding black platform heels to what has always been a classically grunge look.

Ortega used the same inspiration the following day, for a New York City daily outing. This time, she swapped “business” for “boss.”

The platform heels make another iconic appearance, this time paired with phenomenal sheer, striped tights and a Vivienne Westwood blazer with lapels that seem to want to reach right through the screen. With a hint of a black bralette peeking through —and, as always, a pair of black sunglasses — who wouldn’t be enthralled by this spectral sensation?

Ortega went full “Lydia Deetz,” paying homage to Ryder’s school uniform costume — worn throughout the 1988 film — during an Aug. 19 event in New York City. Finally trading out her platforms, Ortega chose a vintage pair of white and navy blue heels, matching her navy blazer and plaid skirt perfectly.

Created by Ozias — a luxury bag brand founded by designer Marc Ozias — Ortega stepped out with a handbag disguised as a book that read “Handbag for the Recently Deceased,” a direct reference to the handbook used in the original film.

Ozias, known for its recent partnership with the hit series “Emily in Paris,” made sure this wasn’t the only “Beetlejuice”-themed bag that made an appearance during the press tour. At the Aug.29 premiere in London, Ortega donned a Harris Reed gown, as sleek and angular as the literal house she held.

According to an Ozias Instagram post, the white handbag, another one of Ozias’ creations, was created as a replica of the house in the original film.

“I wanted to recreate the iconic Beetlejuice house no matter how challenging it would be,” Ozias said in an Instagram post. “The result will forever remain in my heart and in the heart of my brand.”

Ortega took this press tour to the next level, mixing velvet, lac, dark blues and blacks that look like they were created just for her, making for an incredibly frightening and immensely beautiful set of outfits. Fans have always known that Ortega could play any character she wants to; now we know that she can wear any outfit she’d like, too.
