After the music industry's extremely exciting year in 2024, the public was left wondering if it could possibly get any better. The following year proved it really could.

2025 produced a plethora of amazing releases from our favorite musicians as well as an emergence of shocking new talent. Unfortunately, this exhilarating year for the music world must come to a close, but what better way to honor it than by watching “music’s biggest night?”

The highly-anticipated Grammy Awards are considered to be the most important and prestigious music awards in the world. Although, out of the millions of people who tune into the spectacle, not all are solely music lovers. The big night is also a chance for us to observe this year’s fashion trends and for celebrities to exhibit their inspiring and luxurious red carpet looks.

On Sunday, the 68th Grammys red carpet event began at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Celebrities flooded the area, and a black-and-white theme was made clear from the start.

Billie Eilish in Hodakova
Olivia Dean in Chanel

Los Angeles-based pop singer and songwriter, Billie Eilish, and her British peer, Olivia Dean, arrived in phenomenal monochrome looks. Eilish, nominated for her hit song, “WILDFLOWER,” sported a custom Hodakova upside-down, barracuda jacket with a matching skirt. Dean, who was nominated for the award for Best New Artist, came dressed in a 2010s-inspired Chanel dress with a feathery adornment around her drop-waist.

Lady Gaga

Keeping up with the trend of feathers, Lady Gaga was draped in a thrilling, feathered drama. Nominated this year for her seventh album, “Mayhem,” Gaga is celebrated not only for her music, but also her eccentric looks. This high-necked, sculptural gown upheld the singer's iconic reputation.

Doechii in custom Robert Cavalli

Delving into more colorful territory, Doechii stunned in a burnt orange and eggplant-purple custom Robert Cavalli dress. The singer showed no signs of “Anxiety” as her voluminous train and glittery fabric stood out beautifully on the carpet.

Bad Bunny in custom Schiaparelli
Sombr in Valentino

Bad Bunny and Sombr showed up to show off their handsome ensembles. Bad Bunny’s custom Schiaparelli tuxedo was a show-stopper, sharp and featuring a laced-up detail on the back. Nominated for six Grammys this year, we shouldn’t have expected anything else from the “King of Latin Rap.” In sequined silver Valentino garb, Sombr looked ready to take on his first Grammys as a nominee.

Sabrina Carpenter

Sparkles flooded the carpet as international girl group, KATSEYE, arrived in six different versions of the same Ludovic de Saint Sernin design. The Best New Artist nominees mixed individuality with cohesiveness in their floral, white and sheer silver attire.

Sabrina Carpenter also exhibited this sheer, floral detail in her glamorous Valentino gown. The once Disney Channel star demonstrated that she has grown up, wearing a dress as impressive as her six Grammy nominations.

Justin and Hailey Bieber

Justin and Hailey Bieber twinned in matching black outfits and silver adornments. The 26-year-old Canadian pop icon was nominated for his new album, and he definitely looked “SWAG” as he and his partner displayed their “ICE OUT” pins.

Addison Rae in Alaïa
Chappell Roan in Mugler

A sensational display of youthful fun and sensuality was provided by Addison Rae and Chappell Roan. Rae rose to fame as a TikTok dancer but has recently re-invented herself as a dance-pop artist with a quirky fashion sense. In a ruffled Alaïa dress, the Best New Artist nominee was all business in the front and party in the back!

Chappell Roan took the party one step further in Mugler’s 1998 “Nipple Ring” dress. This shocking — yet ravishing — design was made with sheer fabric, and its plunging back showed off the singer’s henna body art.

Through black-and-white sensibility and gorgeous pops of color, the 68th annual Grammy Awards did not disappoint. Between artists, celebrities and designers, everyone was sure to celebrate in style, and we can’t wait to see what happens next year.
