The 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, also known as SAG, made history on Saturday by premiering on Netflix for the first time. Streaming this celebration of outstanding performances in the arts of film and television allowed viewers to witness the stylistic poise of Hollywood’s finest in a new way. As the stars graced the red carpet, their fashion choices became a focal point of admiration and critique. From Taraji P. Henson’s “Black Girl Magic” bow train look to Ayo Ediberi’s patterned Laur gown, the attendees showcased their styles with intention and individuality. 

Anne Hathaway strutted along the red carpet in a vintage blue Versace dress paired with both a silver clutch and heels. Her blue gown was an ode to the iconic scene in the movie “The Devil Wears Prada” where her character is told about the various shades of blue. Hathaway later took the stage with her “The Devil Wears Prada” co-stars Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt to announce the award for Best Male Actor in a Comedy Series. 

Ediberi took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role in “The Bear.” Ediberi wowed on the red carpet in a v-neck Laur gown complimented by a Tabayer Oera choker becoming a sensation this award show season. Her style evolution has captivated the eyes of many leaving us all wondering what she will wear next.

Audience favorite Selena Gomez donned a white Versace gown with extravagant blown-out hair for Saturday's awards. According to an article from People Magazine, her hairdresser wanted to conjure a “90’s Cindy Crawford vibe.” Gomez’s critically acclaimed show “Only Murders in the Building” was up for Best Comedy Series Ensemble. 

Henson stunned in a black Giambattista Valli Haute Couture strapless gown featuring a bow train and silver accents. Her self-titled “Black Girl Magic'' look, according to her Instagram, took the red carpet by storm.  Henson starred as Shug Avery in “The Color Purple” which received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. 

Elizabeth Debicki, best known for her role as Princess Diana in “The Crown,” wore an icy silver gown, that according to Vogue, was embellished with over 145,000 crystals. Debicki’s look was an ode to Princess Diana's 1987 Catherine Walker gown which had a similar hue and cut. She later was awarded the SAG for Best Female Actor in a Drama Series for her portrayal of the People’s Queen.

Margot Robbie put her best fashion foot forward in a stunning black Schiaparelli Couture mini dress and an exaggerated light pink over-the-shoulder train. The star continues to pay homage to her character in “Barbie” for which she received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor.

America's superhero Brie Larson dared to amaze the red carpet in a pink two-piece Versace look. Larson added a youthful flair by incorporating a cropped top and ballroom skirt combo. Larson was nominated for Best Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie for her role in “Lessons in Chemistry.”

Jeremy Allen White arrived in an ivory Saint Laurent suit with a Bird on the Rock Brooch and a diamond Tiffany & Co. watch. White did not leave empty-handed, winning the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in “The Bear.” His recent fashion debut has made him someone to look forward to both on and off-screen. 

Colman Domingo added to his style reputation by wearing a pale pink and black suit paired with Louboutin Chelsea boots. The “Rustin” star was nominated for both Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for his role in “The Color Purple” and Best Male Actor in a Leading Role for his movie “Rustin.” 

As the curtains close on the 2024 SAG Awards, one thing remains clear; fashion took center stage alongside the recognition of so many captivating performances. While the various ensembles showcased their wearer's individuality and style prowess, the standout looks left an indelible mark on the evening.
