Since September 2023 when Usher was announced as the 2024 Super Bowl halftime performance fans have been speculating who he will bring on stage with him. Sports betting platforms including BetMGM and FanDuel even had Super Bowl halftime show odds, allowing fans to place bets on who Usher would bring with him.

Although many fans were disappointed Justin Bieber didn’t make an appearance, Usher did bring Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Lil Jon, Ludacris, will.i.am and Jermaine Dupri with him.

Just as Usher’s star-studded guest list didn’t disappoint, neither did the halftime performance outfits.

Usher opened the performance wearing an all-white look from Dolce & Gabbana. The custom asymmetrical bomber jacket, detailed with a diamond and ruby encrusted phoenix pin, was worn with a pair of sculptural pants made out of wool.

But it wouldn’t be a Super Bowl halftime show without an outfit change and while H.E.R. was shredding on the guitar Usher was changing into a bespoke Off-White™ look.

Inspired by the Off-White™ Spring/Summer 2023 collection, the black and blue bedazzled biker jacket and jumpsuit fuses traditional Off-White™ style with the American biker world.

Both of Usher’s looks for the night were thanks to costume designer Brookelyn Styles and fashion designer Tanja Caldwell as well as the creative teams from both Off-White™ and Dolce & Gabbana.

Keys joined Usher as a surprise guest, singing her “If I Ain’t Got You” while standing at a red piano resembling an abstract sculpture.

During the performance, the singer donned a custom red Dolce & Gabbana ensemble consisting of an organza cape covered in Swarovski crystals and a dramatic train and catsuit with an exposed boning corset detail.

That’s not the last we’ve heard from Usher for a long time. Ahead of his album drop on Feb. 9, he announced that he will be embarking on a North American tour beginning in August.

He also starred in a newly-launched SKIMS men's campaign and released his own Super Bowl merchandise collection in collaboration with the NFL.

The outcome of the 2024 Super Bowl couldn’t affect Usher’s mood, by all accounts he had the best week ever.
