SKIMS has been one of the fastest-growing and most popular brands of the past few years. Founded in 2018, it has been on an upward trend since its start. Kardashian has collaborated with sports asscoaitions, including the NBA, the WMBA and Team USA, as well as many other celebrities to help promote her brand, and it seems to be working in her favor.
Del Rey fans were left speechless after SKIMS previewed the upcoming collection on social media on Jan. 17. The brand, along with Del Rey’s modeling and photography by Nadia Lee Cohen, created a dreamy campaign shoot to match Del Rey’s iconic style.

In one of the photos, Del Rey is pictured wearing a black slip dress and veil, seemingly a reference to looks she wore during the release of her 2014 album, “Ultraviolence.”
Del Rey embraced coquette details and bombshell feminine energy during this campaign, bringing back her iconic blonde hair color, which many fans haven’t seen since the release of her first album.
The SKIMS team expertly followed current trends and were able to create a nuanced take on them, featuring bows and satin, as well as feminine necklines and lace details. The new collection officially launched on Tuesday, just in time to order new clothes for the Feb. 14 holiday.
